Microsoft Modern Work Consultant Internship (Summer 2024 - MN, MT, NE, ND, SD)

Eide Bailly is looking for a full time intern over the summer. This is an in office internship in the Fargo, ND, Sioux Falls, SD, Omaha, NE, Minneapolis, MN, or Billings, MT, location.

As a Microsoft Modern Work Intern on the Technology Solutions team, you will be focused on assisting clients with Information Technology needs. You will also have the chance to gain general knowledge of other technical domains such as cyber security, software development, and data analytics.

Typical Day in the Life

A typical day for an Outsourced IT intern WILL include:

• Traveling onsite to clients from time to time.
• Endpoint configuration, management, and deployment.
• Microsoft 365 tenant and service configuration, management, and deployment.
• Entra ID service configuration and management, including on-premises Active Directory object synchronization.
• Microsoft security and compliance service configuration, management, and deployment.
• Windows OS and Office desktop application configuration, management, and deployment.
• Study and work towards completing industry-accredited certifications.
• Attend trainings and workshops.
• Attend and participate in team meetings where you will discuss client issues and solutions.
• Work closely with client stakeholders to gather requirements and to discuss the more technical aspects of client issues and needs.
• Maintain awareness of technology trends and issues and apply that knowledge to client issues and potential solutions.
• Manage client relationships with integrity by monitoring client needs and building value.
• Actively seek and provide feedback to develop the firm's Microsoft Modern Work team.
• Support Microsoft Modern Work clients.

A typical day for a Microsoft Modern Work intern MAY include:

• Assess, configure, deploy, and build client solutions using Microsoft 365 service technologies.
• Configure, deploy, and manage endpoints using Intune.
• Configure, deploy, and manage Microsoft 365 tenants to best practices.
• Configure, deploy, and manage Entra ID and object synchronization.
• Configure, deploy, and manage Microsoft security and compliance services.
• Consult with clients to provide recommendations on how to improve their Microsoft 365 tenants and ensure security of their data, devices, identities, and applications.
• Conduct Microsoft 365 full tenant assessments.
• Be able to demonstrate Microsoft 365 services or features as needed to help clients understand how to best use the service.

Interns:

We are excited to share that intern positions across our firm are paid between $21.00-$28.00/hour and are eligible for overtime. If you are offered an intern position with Eide Bailly, your pay rate will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education and/or experience. Interns are eligible for health insurance and 401(k) Profit Sharing.
