Summer Intern IT Support Engineer

The Team:

Internal IT is at the heart of Celonis’ business. Internal IT provides nonstop global support to Celonis operations, and is a vital piece to the puzzle. We implement, maintain, and operate the company’s global corporate IT infrastructure.

The Role:

As a Summer Intern as IT Support Engineer, you will use your knowledge and skills to implement technical solutions and provide high quality support for computer hardware, operating systems, or enterprise application software. You will troubleshoot and solve straightforward problems that do not have defined Standard Operating Procedures.

The work you’ll do:

  • Resolve, transfer or escalate IT tickets raised by internal employees
  • Work in an international IT support team to solve issues globally
  • Troubleshoot and resolve various technical issues via phone, email and remote control
  • 1st contact & responsible for Onboarding of new Celonis employees in the US
  • Communication with our users and staff to understand, identify, document and resolve problems
  • Performing simple repairs to computing and related equipment
  • Develop documentation/user guides for common user issues
  • On-site support for the Celonis Office
  • Learn everyday something new in our international IT team
  • To be a good service provider in a superfluid company

The qualifications you need:

  • Knowledge in a Windows environment (Windows 10, Windows Server 2012/2016)
  • (Basic knowledge of Active Directory)
  • (Basic knowledge of TCP/IP networks)
  • Microsoft O365 knowledge
  • Operate and maintain network printers and network components like video-conferencing systems based on Zoom
  • Knowledge in Mobile Device Management solutions
  • Prior experience in desktop support and equipment
