What are the Position Requirements:

 

  • A Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in the teaching discipline OR an Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution and demonstrated competencies in the teaching discipline.
  • The candidate selected will teach a combination of courses listed here:
    ETM 1600C, ETM 1601C, ETM 1602C, ETM 2605C, ETM 2606C, ETM 2607C, ETM 2942, ETM 2608C, ETM 2609C, ETM 2943 Many of these classes take place in the evening.
  • The EMCT program is a hands-on program preparing students for careers in building automation systems.
  • This position will require face to face teaching modalities.
  • Contract Workload
    • 18 credit hours of teaching per week
    • 12 hours of student engagement
    • 5 hours service to the program/school
      • The length of contract is in accordance with the academic calendar.
  • Please note that you will need to establish Florida residency within 30 days from your start date if selected for this position.

Salary Information:

Salary is determined based on related work experience and degree level. Salary range by degree level listed below:

12 Month Annually Appointed

Associate’s: $44,187 to $64,677
Bachelor’s: $46,195 to $67,616
Master’s: $50,211 to $73,496
Master’s +30: $ 54,228 to $79,376
Doctorate: $56,237 to $82,315
