Retail Sales Associate

Schedule (Total: 20.5 hours)

Thursday: 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Friday: 11:30 AM - 7:30 PM

Saturday: 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM

Position Summary:

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing high level customer service to volunteers, girls, and parents via GSSEM retail sales functions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support to visitors at a GSSEM Retail shop location.
2. Ensure daily procedures are followed, including completing daily deposit worksheets.
3. Fulfill curbside orders to be transported to other service centers.
4. Fulfill requests for merchandise for camp and event orders.
5. Unpack and receive deliveries.
6. Organize and maintain accurate merchandise inventory.
7. Oversee merchandising and restocking at a GSSEM Retail shop location.
8. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Experience in retail sales and customer service
3. Superior skills in customer relations
4. Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
5. Good communication and interpersonal skills
6. Proficient in Point of Sale (POS) system
7. Ability to travel to other GSSEM service centers and off-site meetings as assigned

Starting salary: $15.00/hr
