Field Organizer
In 2024, Arizona will be a premier battleground state with highly competitive races to elect Democrats at every level of the ticket. The Arizona Democratic Party is seeking Organizers that will engage supporters and mobilize voters to cast their ballot for Democrats on November 5, 2024.
Logistics:
- Organizers are paid hourly at $17 per hour
- Overtime is paid at 1 1/2 times the hourly rate after 40 hours per week ($25.50)
- Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis!
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle required
- This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with IBEW
- This is an in-person, full time position in Arizona for the 2024 election cycle
- Organizers will report to the Organizing Lead and be assigned to communities in the Phoenix area
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train volunteers for in-person direct voter contact, including: talking to and sharing content with their friends and family through relational organizing, high traffic canvassing, and phonebanking.
- Coordinate in-person events to educate voters and engage volunteers at scale.
- Build relationships and engage with community organizations and local stakeholders on behalf of the program in your assigned area.
- Develop and train volunteer leaders and teams vital to mobilizing our supporters.
