(#5958137003) Early Entry Sr. Assistant Engineer, QA Test and Automation Engineer

What You’ll Do

The Samsung High Performance Storage (SHiPS) Quality Assurance team focusses on testing the product’s functionality, usability, and performance; identifying bugs and validating fixes before release into production to ensure the best customer experience.

In this role you will join the SHiPS QA team to test our storage software solution, ensuring both current features and new features are ready to deploy and be utilized by customers in a cloud production environment.

  • Design, develop, and execute functional test cases for Samsung High Performance Storage (SHiPS) software solution.
  • Create and execute test plans for new features.
  • Conduct both manual and automated testing.
  • Leverage internal and external test tools and frameworks for automated testing.
  • Participate in internal test tool development.
  • Report defects and manage bugs throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned.

Location:  Hybrid, working onsite at our San Jose, CA Headquarters 3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely the remainder of your time

What You Bring

  • BS in Computer Science or a related field, with 0 years of working experience
  • Graduation date between May - August 2024
  • Strong knowledge of Python programming
  • Experience with the Linux operating system
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding of the role of QA in the software development lifecycle.
