Human Resources Summer Intern

Our summer internship program offers the chance to have practical, real world experience at one of the world’s leading P&C insurance companies. As a part of the program, you will have the opportunity to work on business specific projects where you will gain knowledge and experience to supplement and strengthen your academic skills. Key Responsibilities

The HR Summer Intern will support several HR functions and gain exposure and experience through various projects including:

  • Assist the HR Business Partner team with career mapping and HR data clean-up in preparation for the year-end performance and compensation cycle. Gain direct experience supporting talent acquisition, development, and retention activities.  
  • Assist the HR ServiceNow implementation team on the discovery, review, collection, and inventory of Chubb North America Human Resources content for conversion into ServiceNow ‘Knowledge Articles.’
  • Assist in mapping Knowledge Articles to the established categories, support the meta tagging process, and prepare knowledge articles in the appropriate template for upload into ServiceNow.
  • Initiate and monitor the validation process of conversion activity with the respective content owners.
  • Identify and report knowledge gaps identified in the content collection process.
  • Assist with ad hoc HR projects across North America.

Internship Program is planned to start on June 3, 2024.

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Rising juniors and seniors pursuing a bachelor’s degree in many majors will be considered with a preference towards Human Resources
  • Strong GPA preferred (3.0 required)
  • Leadership experience through work or involvement in community service, athletics, clubs, or other activities preferred
  • Basic understanding of HR policies and practices
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Comfort level collaborating through varies means of communication i.e., in-person, phone, email, WebEx, and Microsoft Teams 
  • Technically adept/digitally savvy
