Client Support Intern - NYC Office (On-Site)

We are seeking a part-time Client Support Intern to work in our New York City office.  You will provide your days/timings that you can work Monday through Friday.

 

The primary responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

·      Scanning of all client related tax documents into GFR

·      Organize and maintain supply room and pantry

·      Restock supplies within the office, keep track of inventory and reorder supplies when low, maintain vendor relationships

·      Follow up with vendor on orders placed

·      Receive guests to the office and answer phones

·      Sort and distribute mail, prepare outgoing mail

·      Prepare and log all incoming/outgoing FedEx and messenger packages

·      Conference room set-ups and clean up

·      Assist partners in placing phone calls to clients and/or schedule meetings

·      Work on special projects

·      Bind proposals, PowerPoint presentation and financial statements

·      Stock copiers with paper daily, replace ink toners when necessary, assist with troubleshooting

·      Print/copy/scan

·      Assist all staff members

·      Attend required meetings

 

Qualifications:

Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of position. Possess the ability to use grammatical, spelling and punctuation skills effectively. Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to multi- task. Possesses excellent interpersonal skills as well as a cooperative and dependable personality. Demonstrates teamwork and maintains a positive working relationship with fellow team members. Exercises sound judgment and common sense. Demonstrates the ability to be proactive.

 

Business Hours:

Normal business hours are 8:30am to 5:00pm and are in effect for all periods other than what is listed below:

·      January through April 15 – availability to work later on weeknights and on Saturdays is preferred

·      September 1 through October 15 – availability to work later on weeknights and on Saturdays is preferred

 

Other Skills and Abilities:

Proficient in Microsoft Office products, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint
