Urban Green Environmental, LLC is a professional environmental engineering and consulting firm located in Baltimore, Maryland. We specialize in environmental assessment, design, and remediation services on Brownfields located in the Maryland area.  Urban Green’s intent is to grow in our capabilities in supporting environmental due diligence efforts throughout Baltimore, Maryland and the surrounding areas. Qualified candidates should be dedicated to our company growth and the growth of our surrounding communities. 

We are looking for a qualified entry level Environmental Scientist, Geologist or Engineer to support our Baltimore City office.

Qualified candidate’s primary responsibilities will include the performance of environmental projects, focused on environmental due diligence, Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments, the Maryland Voluntary Cleanup Program, and the Maryland Oil Control Program, and other project and company support duties, as required. 

Qualified candidates must be flexible, creative and solution-oriented. Urban Green is a small firm and we work as a team. Day to day responsibilities may vary with the expectation that everyone works hard to accomplish project goals. Qualified candidates must possess a degree from an accredited college/university with a major in environmental science, geology or engineering and must have 0 to 3 years related experience. Qualified candidates are detail oriented and possess strong organizational, writing and communication skills. Knowledge of the Maryland Voluntary Cleanup Program and current ASTM environmental standards are preferred.
