The Connecticut Insurance Department (CID) is currently accepting applications for a Staff Attorney 2 for the Legal Division.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS

  • Full Time, 40 hours per week
  • Location: 153 Market Street in Downtown Hartford, easily accessible for all commuters.
  • First Shift
  • Monday - Friday
  • Hybrid (combination of in-office/telework)

 

THE ROLE

The Staff Attorney 2 will primarily be responsible for providing legal support to the market conduct, property & casualty, consumer affairs and business office divisions. The Legal Division is responsible for providing legal support to all other CID divisions and managing certain CID duties established by law. The successful candidate will play a critical role in helping to ensure compliance with law by the CID generally and supporting the CID's overall mission of consumer protection.
