We are now looking to hire music teachers who can take our students to the next level of musicianship. Open Positions

We are expanding and are looking for talented staff to join our team. We are now accepting applications for the following instructors:

  • Guitar Teachers (Classical, Pop, Rock, Blues)
  • Drum Teachers (Rock, Pop, Jazz)

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting music lessons as per our curriculum guide and your personally preferred method books.
  • Communicating with parents about the progress of the child
  • Identify (and build) the lesson plans that are appropriate for the student
  • Preparing students for recitals and attending them
  • Assessing students and documenting/explaining the assessment to the student/their parents.
  • Attend to work outside of lessons such as with team meetings, outings, assessments, event prep, etc

Requirements

  • Passion for not only music but also to work with children between the ages 5-15, sometimes adults
  • Strong ability to read music
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in music is preferred but not required
  • Experience with conducting a rock band is a plus but not necessary
  • Comfortable teaching a variety of styles and genres
  • Planning to remain in the area and commit to this position for at least a few years, after probationary period is over
  • Organized, reliable, punctual
