Network Architect

We are looking for a Network Architect to perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures, implement network and computer security measures, and research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement computer and information networks
- Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning
- Research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software
- Provide technical guidance for directing and monitoring information systems network operations
- Troubleshoot network performance issues. Analyze network traffic and provides capacity planning solutions
- Monitor and respond to technical control network hardware and software problems
- Interface with vendor service groups to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance
- Manage the testing, installation, and support of network communications systems
- Perform system-level design and configuration of products
Requirements:
- United States Citizenship
- At least five (5) years of experience in network design and implementation
- Ability to obtain Secret Clearance. US Citizenship required
- Knowledge of network engineering principles, theories, and concepts and ability to contribute to the development of new and innovative principles and concepts
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline is required
Clearance: A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.
