Senior Health Program Coordinator (JR-0000778)

Responsibilities

The Senior Health Program Coordinator will be located in New Rochelle, NY. The incumbent will work with the New York State Public Health Corps Region 7 Fellowship Placement Coordinator to assist in the coordination of program planning and implementation activities related to the New York State Public Health Corps (NYSPHC) Fellowship Program. The incumbent will coordinate data collection activities, review and summarize reports of survey findings completed by Host Supervisors and Fellows, and contribute to data quality improvement and performance management activities for the NYSPHC Fellowship Program. The incumbent will contribute to supporting Fellows throughout the duration of their employment by contributing to the coordination, implementation, and evaluation of professional development opportunities, including identifying networking resources, and facilitate activities for all identified NYSPHC Fellows to assist with their NYSPHC Fellowship experience. The incumbent will also perform outreach and program promotion activities, including contributing to program communications. The incumbent will perform other appropriate related duties as assigned.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of experience contributing to the coordination of program activities in a public health, health, health regulatory, or human services related program; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and four years of such experience; OR six years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

A Master's degree in a related field. At least one year of relevant work experience. Experience with survey development, data analyses and reporting. Experience with program planning and implementation. Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office 365 products (Word/Excel).

 

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.

Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Travel, up to 25% of the time, will be required.


This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting will be available.
