Position Overview:
The Operations Manager plays a critical role in overseeing and enhancing the operational framework of Power Changes Lives. This remote position requires a strategic thinker and dynamic leader who can manage day-to-day operations while aligning them with our mission to foster sustainable growth and impact.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Operational Strategy & Implementation:
▪ Develop, implement, and refine operational policies and strategies to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
▪ Monitor and evaluate operational performance, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
2. Project Management:
▪ Lead and manage projects aimed at addressing our focus areas including housing, food insecurity, and education.
▪ Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely execution and success of grant programs and initiatives.
3. Team Leadership:
▪ Supervise, train, and support a remote team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
▪ Conduct regular meetings to track progress and address any challenges the team may face.
4. Financial Oversight:
▪ Prepare and manage budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial resources are utilized efficiently.
▪ Work alongside the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with federal regulations.
5. Stakeholder Engagement:
▪ Maintain and strengthen relationships with community partners, donors, and stakeholders.
▪ Represent Power Changes Lives in external forums to advocate for organizational goals and publicize our mission.
6. Data Management & Reporting:
▪ Ensure accurate data collection and analysis to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
▪ Prepare comprehensive reports for the board and stakeholders, highlighting progress and outcomes.
