Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and driven Web Design and Development Specialist to join our mission-driven team. As a vital part of our organization, you will lead the digital initiatives to enhance our online presence and broaden our outreach capabilities. You will work closely with various departments to create a seamless digital experience, helping to communicate our mission and impact effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
1.  Website Development & Maintenance:
▪  Design, develop, and maintain our website, ensuring an engaging and user-friendly experience.
▪  Implement necessary updates, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly.
2.  UI/UX Design:
▪  Craft visually appealing, user-centric web layouts and interfaces.
▪  Optimize the user journey through intuitive navigation and interactive elements.
3.  Content Management:
▪  Collaborate with content creators to ensure accurate, current, and impactful content is showcased.
▪  Utilize CMS platforms to upload and manage multimedia content.
4.  SEO & Analytics:
▪  Implement SEO best practices to enhance website visibility.
▪  Analyze website traffic and user data to inform future updates and improvements.
5.  Collaboration & Strategy:
▪  Work with cross-functional teams to align the website strategy with organizational goals.
▪  Lead brainstorming sessions for digital campaigns and initiatives.
6.  Education & Advocacy:
▪  Create and update web pages dedicated to our initiatives in education, family wellness, housing, etc.
▪  Develop multimedia resources to support social justice and reform advocacy efforts.
