Business Development Analyst ("BDA")

The Business Development Analyst will work directly with the VP of Business Development team and in full coordination with the business development team and senior management based in Park City, New York, and Hong Kong to create key strategic priorities that scales growth and expansion for the firm. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start their marketing and sales career in financial services. You will play a key role in supporting our sales and marketing initiatives by analyzing data, managing internal CRM, and assisting with marketing the firm’s services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support Sales Team: Collaborate with the Business Development team to develop compelling presentations and proposals tailored to prospective clients.
- Market Research: Stay up to date on industry trends through research and news to help identify new business opportunities.
- CRM Management: Monitor and update HubSpot with accurate firm and contact information and sales activities.
- Prospect Engagement: Support prospect outreach efforts by curating accurate data lists for regional sales outreach.
- Content Creation: Create pertinent firm marketing materials and presentations for prospective clients in an attempt to foster a relationship and increase education in the early stages of the sales process.
- Social Media Management: Assist VP of Business Development with creating, editing, and approving LinkedIn and blog posts.
- Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret market data to support pre-sales activities and marketing strategies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of investment management & hedge fund industry
- Process and results oriented mindset couple with organization and planning skills
- Strong analytical skills with a passion for data and insights
- Energetic self-starter with an industrious mindset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, familiarity with HubSpot is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and multi-task effectively.
