Role Overview:
Under the guidance of the Credit Facilitator, you'll plan, teach, and evaluate language courses, supervise participants, and contribute to Village life through activities, cultural programs, and community-building.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and teach language classes, maintaining accurate grade records and progress reports.
• Communicate regularly with the Credit Facilitator on student progress.
• Live in a cabin with villagers, providing supervision and fostering a sense of community.
• Participate in meals, games, cultural events, and activity periods with villagers.
• Assist with light cleaning of Village spaces to ensure a safe environment.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by leadership staff.

Ideal Candidate Skills:

• Conversational and written proficiency in the target language.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, especially with children.
• Maturity, good judgment, and adaptability to changing situations.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or international equivalent.
• Experience teaching the target language and culture.
• Hands-on experience working with adolescents aged 14–18.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Concordia Language Villages or summer camp experience.
• Teaching licensure.
• Experience as a teacher in the target language.
