Summer Camp Wrangler

Camp Olympia is seeking a wrangler for our 2024 summer. The wrangler will oversee our horseback program. Camp Olympia's horseback program currently houses 7 horses that are ridden in a western style. The wrangler will oversee the daily health of these animals as well as all equipment, arena, etc. The wrangler will also be involved in the daily instruction for basic to intermediate horsemanship skills for campers that take horseback as an activity. The wrangler will directly report to the equine director at camp and will have the continued support of her as well as the entire full time staff to ensure a successful program. Our wrangler will live in a cabin with kids and will have camp counselor duties but steps will be taken to ensure that all necessary horseback duties will take precedence.
