Classroom Teacher for Upper Elementary

Teach a classroom section of grade 4, 5, or 6 students the subjects Bible, Reading and Language Arts, Math, Science and Health, and U.S. Social Studies. Other classes such as PE, Music, Art, Computer, Spanish, and Honduran Social Studies are taught by other teachers.

Teachers receive a salary that is comparable to Honduran contemporaries along with benefits like fully furnished housing, an annual $900 travel stipend, monthly bonuses in December and June-each equal to an additional month's pay, and a signing bonus for completion of a two-year contract. From the normal salary, teachers are able to pay for their utilities and groceries and have some extra for savings. Out of their bonuses, teachers are able to travel to and from the United States for Christmas vacation and travel around Central America at different times throughout the year.
