On-Campus Summer Employment (Multiple Locations & Positions Available)

At the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY), k-12 students explore their interests and challenge themselves academically while belonging to a vibrant learning community and making lifelong friends. As part of our On-Campus Summer Programs team, you can develop invaluable skills, grow your professional networks, and have fun while earning a competitive salary and working closely with bright students from around the world. Our On-Campus Summer Programs are held at esteemed colleges, universities, and schools around the United States.


Session Dates & Site Locations:

  • Session 1: June 19th - July 12th*
  • Session 2: July 12th - August 2nd*

**Dates may adjust based on position and site location

  • Johns Hopkins University - Baltimore, MD
  • Ursinus College - Collegeville, PA
  • Dickinson College - Carlisle, PA
  • Skidmore College - Saratoga Springs, NY
  • Roger Williams University - Bristol, RI
  • Loyola Marymount University - Los Angeles, CA
  • UC Santa Cruz - Santa Cruz, CA

Various positions are available at each of our residential summer camp sites. Housing and meals are provided for the duration of your summer contract. Some travel accommodations may also be provided at no cost to you. International College Students are eligible to apply.

2025 Summer Positions Available:

Program & Residential Life (HS diploma required)

  • Senior Resident Assistant
  • Resident Assistant
  • Program Assistant (only available at commuter programs)

Site Leadership (master's degree required and 2 or more years' experience in a similar role)

  • Dean of Residential Life
  • Office Manager
  • Academic Counselor
  • Academic Dean
  • Site Director

Health

  • Health Assistant (must be 21 with valid driver's license)
  • Site Nurse (LPN, RN)

Instructional 

  • Instructor (bachelor's degree and 2 years teaching required)
  • Teaching Assistant (college level students or higher with teaching experience)

Administrative Support (must be 21 with valid driver's license)

  • Residential Program Assistant
  • Assistant Academic Dean
  • General Assistant
  • Technical Assistant
