What sets you apart from the rest? Specifically, you have the following skills, experience and/or education:
Certified Medical Assistant or Associates Degree in a health related field with one year experience or actively enrolled in health related degree program with three years’ experience in health related field with.
Ability to provide training and technical assistance.
Bilingual (English/Spanish).
Must have current physical exam, mantoux tuberculosis screening, and clearances.
Must be able to obtain criminal and child abuse clearances, as required by law.
This is a seasonal full-time position. The Health and Disabilities Services Coordinator is responsible for providing leadership in the development of the health, mental health, nutrition, and disabilities services programming.
Specifically, this position is responsible for:
Developing relationships with community services providers and serving as liaison to ensure needed program resources are accessible.
Participating in Case Management meetings, sharing knowledge of child.
Completing and documenting assigned follow-up from Case Management meetings on appropriate forms.
Providing guidance on activities recommended by the mental health consultant, Individual Education Plans, Individual Family Services Plans, and/or technical assistance providers.
Coordinating and participating in staffing for suspected/identified children with special needs.
Ensuring required screenings are completed within mandated timeframes.
Making referrals and providing follow-ups within mandated timeframes.
Attending and participating in trainings.
This position is located in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania.
