Job Description:
As an Accounting Intern in our Residential Leasing Department, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our accounting and leasing teams. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to the financial side of residential leasing, including invoicing, financial reporting, budgeting, and lease documentation. The ideal candidate should be passionate about accounting, possess a strong attention to detail, and be eager to learn.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with processing lease payments, invoicing tenants, and tracking rent collections
- Help reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial records are maintained
- Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting and leasing teams as needed
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (knowledge of accounting software is a plus)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self-starter with a proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
