Part-Time Supply Chain Associate

Location: 2625 N Neergard Ave, Springfield, MO 65803

Company: Fastenal

Shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm (Up to 28 hours/week)

Overview: Join Fastenal as a Part-Time Supply Chain Associate and embark on a dynamic journey in the world of supply chain excellence. This role offers a unique opportunity to manage inventory, support business-to-business operations, and administer procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions. You'll play a pivotal role in meeting customer needs and driving business success. Flexible scheduling may be available after onboarding and training.

Responsibilities:

Manage branch inventory levels
Administer procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
Estimate/quote prices and source products
Coordinate resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
Support accounts receivable activities
Make deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary
Perform other duties to ensure branch success

Required Qualifications:

18 years of age or older
Valid driver's license and ability to meet driving record requirements
Pursuing a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field OR have relevant work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proficient computer skills
Highly motivated, self-directed, and customer service oriented
Strong math aptitude, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities
Problem-solving, deductive reasoning, and decision-making skills
Ability to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages weighing 25lbs-50lbs (up to 75lbs)
Pass the required drug screen (applicable in the US, Puerto Rico, and Guam ONLY)
