The Navigator explores treatment recovery options with enrollees, helps clarify goals and strategies, provides education and resources, and assists enrollees in accessing treatment and community supports.


 

What You Will Doing to Make a Difference...

  • Closely collaborates with the enrollees to develop an individualized plan based on identified needs and goals
  • Assist enrollees with care coordination and scheduling medical appointments
  • Implement recovery oriented, motivational interviewing, harm reduction, and strengthen-based rehabilitation practices.
  • Driving is required

Requirements

 

Credentials/Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology or related field preferred (but not required)
  • Experience navigating the local treatment and social services systems
  • Experience working with individuals who are justice involved
  • Trained in overdose prevention
  • Knowledgeable about and respects all paths to recovery
  • Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
