Order Management Specialist

Carahsoft is seeking an Order Management specialist to join our existing team.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing the daily operations related to order fulfillment. This role involves accurate data entry of customer orders and delivering exceptional customer service—both internally to sales teams and externally to customers and vendors.

Key responsibilities include ensuring timely delivery of products and services, monitoring inventory levels, assisting with Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs), and resolving any issues that may arise throughout the order lifecycle. The position requires frequent cross-functional collaboration with departments across Customer Operations, including Accounting (Billing, Collections, Tax) and Finance Deals.

Role Requirements:

  • Customer service oriented.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
  • Professional communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Strong organization and attention to detail skills.
  • 2 - 3 years of related work experience preferred

The ideal candidate will be friendly, empathetic, communicative, adaptable, proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.
