Essential Functions
The Graduate Assistant for this position will provide the set-up calibration, maintenance, and repair of equipment necessary to maintain the functioning of the teaching-focused labs in the School of Health and Kinesiology. This individual will not only prepare, coordinate, and supervise the lab activities associated with KINS 2800 Motor Behavior, KINS 3900 Motivation for Physical Activity, KINS 4100 Applied Kinesiology, and KINS 4150 Adapted Physical Education but also assist faculty with the teaching and videotaping associated with these courses. Individual and small group instruction is emphasized during lab time, as is “data” collection and analysis. Additionally, a small amount of this individual’s time will be spent assisting faculty in library research, data collection and analysis.

Required Qualifications
Undergraduate degree in Health, Physical Education, Exercise Science, Biomechanics, Recreation, or related field; undergraduate GPA of 3.0 or higher recommended; and the completion of the graduate application.
