Happy Hands Education Center, a private Christian school for children who are Deaf and Hard of Hearing in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma is seeking a Director of Early Education TOD.

The Director of Early Education is responsible to and works closely with the Executive Director. The Director coordinates, supervises, and implements infant – pre-kindergarten services directly related to DHH children, CODAs and hearing siblings, staff and volunteers of Happy Hands and maintains an educational environment conducive to the development of the children and supports the focus of the ministry in a Christian atmosphere. 

  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Deaf Education, Special Education or a related field with at least 12 semester hours in child development.
  • Must have strong interpersonal, communication (written and ASL) and organizational skills.
  • Be prepared to meet all director requirements for a 5 Star Child Care Center and accredited early education program within a specified period after employment. 
  • Be committed to a church where Jesus Christ is taught to be the eternal Son of God and complete a statement of faith and personal lifestyle statement.
