Job Description: Graphic Design Intern

Forcade Associates brings people and the space around them together through the intelligent and engaging design of built environments. We’re a collection of industrial, environmental, interior, UX/CX and graphic designers who bring unconventional ways of thinking to everything from branding and wayfinding signage systems to environmental graphics and identity systems. 

As a Design Internat Forcade, you’ll craft engaging visual stories about how people and place intersect and interact. You’ll work in close collaboration with other design disciplines to create memorable environmental experiences in commercial, health care, real estate development, higher education, legal and other market sectors.

Responsibilities could include: 

·     Formulate, validate and iterate the design process on all projects

·     Conceptualize, visualize and illustrate how people interact with and use space

·     Manage and execute work on multiple projects concurrently in various market sectors 

·     Contribute and work with other staff individually and in charrettes

·     Participate in weekly progress meetings

·     Communicate with clients as required to establish the highest level of trust and confidence

·     Interpret clients’ needs and lead them through detailed decision-making processes

·     Research materials, manufacturers and suppliers 

·     Work on and manage budgets

·     Other duties as needed

·     Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop), Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Keynote and other Apple products. Efficiency in CAD, 3D modeling programs (like Rhino) and project management tools a plus.

·     1+ years having studied in your universities’ design program
