This three-lawyer firm offers recent college graduates the opportunity to dive directly into the law and be mentored in a round-table atmosphere. You will discover the day-to-day work of civil litigation and legal research. The focus of the practice is primarily consumer protection and human rights litigation. You will be introduced to DC and federal court procedures, reading and analyzing cases, building arguments and drafting motions on behalf of consumers and human rights plaintiffs. We request a two-year commitment, which has shown benefits for both the young paralegal and the firm. Hours are regular and weekend work is a rarity. Physical presence in the office is mandatory with only occasional days of virtual work.
