Finance, Administration & Database Manager

The Position: We are seeking a Finance, Administration & Database Manager to join our fast-paced, mission-driven firm that works closely with a range of nonprofit and political clients. This is a senior administrative and operational role, ideal for someone who thrives on juggling many responsibilities and can hit the ground running. 

The Finance, Administration & Database Manager will manage database systems and administrative processes. You will also assist firm leadership, support nonprofit clients, and manage strategic firm programs such as our Fellowship Program. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, confident, and thrives in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Nonprofit Development

  • Assist with fundraising strategies and donor management for nonprofit clients
  • Help plan and execute large-scale nonprofit events, including galas, conferences and other fundraisers.
  • Work to connect clients with major donors, corporations and foundations to secure financial contributions
  • Ability to secure meetings with potential donors over the phone

Administration

  • Assist with firm budgeting, invoicing, and financial tracking
  • Oversee expense reporting, vendor payments, and related administrative functions
  • Handle office management responsibilities including supplies, scheduling, and facility management
  • Direct administrative special projects, both internal and external, under the supervision of firm leadership

Database & Systems Management

  • Oversee data management systems
  • Maintain and improve internal data processes to support development
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security across all platforms

Executive Support

  • Provide high-level administrative support to partners and firm executives
  • Coordinate scheduling, meeting prep, travel logistics, and communication with clients and stakeholders
  • Support business development and client prospecting initiatives

Internship Coordination

  • Manage the firm’s Fellowship Program, including recruitment, onboarding, and mentoring

The starting salary range for this position is $55,000 - $60,000.
