School Administrative Lead

Urbanity Dance seeks a part-time School Administrative Lead to support the day-to-day operations of Urbanity’s school and community programs. Working closely with the School Director and Urbanity’s students, the School Administrative Lead will aspire to achieve excellence in the administrative and operative functions of Urbanity’s educational programs, bringing high-quality dance education to students of all ages, from toddlers to seniors. 

  • Manage admin schedules across Urbanity’s three studio locations
  • Help maintain the primary student database, Sawyer, and keep records organized
  • Coordinate school-wide communication between students and families
  • Oversee Urbanity’s work study program
  • Assist with the Access For All Scholarship Fund as needed
  • Support the upkeep and functionality of studio spaces
  • Manage the studio front-desk three to four times per week 
  • Interact with students, admin, and faculty in an enthusiastic and positive manner
  • Jump into supporting tasks across departments while keeping a team player mindset (e.g. taking front desk shifts when necessary) 

Schedule:

This is a part-time position, 15-20 hours/week. Work is primarily in-person with regular in-person commitments each week. Some hybrid work may be discussed with the position supervisor if necessary. Actively engaging in Urbanity’s community first hand is a priority. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Administrative experience
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Outgoing, proactive, and positive approach
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Enthusiasm for working with students of all ages and backgrounds

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years related work experience
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Proficiency in Canva or other design platforms
  • Experience in a nonprofit or dance education setting

Salary:

$22/hour
