What I liked

I loved the setup and the team at Extern (formally Paragon One). They really want to help jump-start your career, and they give out excellent feedback. Plus, my externship was with Mobalytics, so researching and playing video games was a dream come true.

What I wish was different

You'll get more hands-on experience with data and more collaboration with fellow externs. You're really on your own, with the exception of maybe an hour or two a week.

Advice

Do it and try networking with fellow externs in your class on LinkedIn.

What I liked

Very supportive and easy to follow instructions. Learned a lot and developed my soft skills. Also improved my research skills

What I wish was different

If the instructions would not be only reading but also getting a chance to interact a little more with peers and supervisors from time to time, more than just a weekly meeting but being able to work together
